The total cost of the building project will be $3.9 million, with $450,000 being spent up to the award of the Resource Consent and the Building Consent. The cost from the start of construction will be $3.45 million.
The construction on site commenced on 7th July, 2014 and is scheduled for completion in Feb / Mar 2015. The project manager is Cheshire Architects and the contractor is Savory Construction.
There are very specific constraints imposed by the Resource Consent to cover intensity of use, noise levels and traffic management. All of these have added significantly to the design and material.
