The people of the USA are in turmoil. The availability of assault weapons is destroying them. This is only a symbol of what is wrong. We have strong views on who can’t or who can win the vote to be President of the United States. This will have a huge effect on New Zealand.
For today, I share this prayer of Sojourners and some bullet points from the Sojourners daily bulletin. Every country who can judge another easily is never far from where that country is. Every day is a call to assist our own people to be forgiving, generous in spirit and compassionate with our children and our older citizens.
To pray for New Zealand today to be non-violent, non-judgemental and non-grasping (and include myself in this prayer) is a beginning.
Have a good day out there.
