There is always lots going on here at Small Miracles especially at this time of year and sadly we have to say goodbye to some of our tamariki who are starting the big adventure of school next year. Our graduation ceremonies are one of our most anticipated events here at preschool and today it was James’ turn. What a wonderful time we had talking about the fun times we have spent with James here at Small Miracles. James and his family have been part of the Small Miracles whanau for such a long time and it was so special to be able to have all his wonderful whanau taking part in the celebrations. Arohanui, James, we are going to miss you!

On December 19th and 20th of 2017 two members of our family died. At the age of 90, Eileen Oakman, Pauline’s mother died of a tumor in her upper jaw, and in distressing circumstances, Dorothy McShane, Pauline’s older sister died totally unexpectedly. Within 24 hours Pauline lost her two closest friends. What follows is my reflection on their lives.
Pauline joins me in thanking all who have expressed sympathy and support. Your love and prayers sustain us.
